The Company’s primary objective is to generate value for stakeholders which Caerus will seek to achieve through targeting the low-cost and de-risked redevelopment of prematurely closed former copper – gold mines hosting significant residual mineralisation supplemented by extensions to known mineralisation, reclamation of dumps and low-grade ore stockpiles and, the addition of newly generated targets derived from the application of modern exploration techniques to develop a Mineral Resources of between 10Mt and 20Mt at cut-off grades of 1% Cu and 1g/t Au.
Mike Johnson DSc. PhD., MTech.
(Emeritus Professor) Mike Johnson DSc. PhD., MTech., held the Rio Tinto Chair of Environmental Science at the University of Liverpool (1994-2005), where he was also Managing Director of the Industrial Ecology Research Centre. He remains External Adviser to Rio Tinto plc, Lundin Mining Corporation and New Boliden AB. He was Chairman of Glebe Mines Ltd from 2001 to 2008, and held similar Director roles with Columbus Copper plc, Savannah Resources plc and Alecto Minerals plc during the period 2006-2016. Professor Johnson also holds advisory positions with the World Bank and United Nations (Environment Programme).
Mr. Churchouse is a geologist with 33 years’ experience in Europe and Africa in exploration, mine development, feasibility and as a mine manager. He worked for Anglo American and Gold Fields before joining the Junior Mining Sector and has been involved in bringing a number of exploration companies to the AIM Market. Martyn was an adviser to Georgian Mining Corporation prior to which he was Senior Adviser New Business Development to Lundin Mining Corporation.
Mr. Daniels is a geologist with over thirty (30) years of international mining, exploration and mining finance experience including management and supervisory experience at senior levels in open pit and underground mines and large scale exploration programs. Experienced in the understanding of capital markets related to mining finance and corporate financing strategies in the mining industry. Extensive international experience working in the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Iran), South East Asia (Philippines), Former Soviet Union (Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Russia), Cuba, Central and South America, India, Canada, Africa (Mali) and Australia with industry leading mining houses WMC, Anglo American, Minorco and Kilborn SNC-Lavalin.
Nigel is a geologist specializing in project generation, implementation and management of exploration and Resource assessment programmes. Most recently he has been a consultant with Rio Tinto Exploration in Peru focusing on VMS and IOCG Copper projects.
